Gurgen Mkrtchyan focuses his efforts on civil litigation and taxation law, and he has developed a reputation for successfully representing clients at both the California state and federal levels. Prior to being recruited by the YMPK Law Group, Gurgen Mkrtchyan demonstrated his talent in various areas of the law as a solo practitioner.

Gurgen Mkrtchyan may be best known for his victories in civil litigation cases against the California State Board of Equalization (BOE), the Employment Development Department (EDD), the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement. and the Franchise Tax Board. He has the uncanny ability to be able to interpret the needs of his clients and fight for their causes as if they’re his own.

Gurgen Mkrtchyan is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of Los Angeles (CAALA), Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Armenian Bar Association. He also dedicates a large portion of his free time to community activities and is a board member of the Armenian National Committee-San Fernando Vally-West. He is a graduate of the Los Angeles Loyola Law School and passed his state bar exam on the first attempt.
