Lilit Tunyan is an experienced corporate attorney with a demonstrated history of working in the energy, telecommunication and financial industry in Armenia for more than 20 years. She is skilled in project and team management, corporate and financial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, regulatory affairs, commercial transactions, internal procedures drafting and implementation, financing projects legal support and contract negotiations. Lilit established and managed the legal team. She has been a General Counsel in charge of legal and regulatory affairs of big companies for the last 13 years in Armenia.
After moving to the U.S. Lilit continued her legal career and has been admitted to the State Bar of California. Prior to joining Mahoney Law Group, Lilit practiced in the areas of premises liability, governmental liability and personal injury.
Lilit has strong analytical and problem-resolution skills. She is a quick learner, flexible and able to work under pressure. Lilit is a strong legal professional with an LL.M from the University of Minnesota as well as Master’s (equivalent of JD) and Bachelor’s law degree from Yerevan State University.
Lilit is licensed to practice law in California. She is admitted to the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court, Central District of California. Lilit is also licensed to practice law in Armenia.
Lilit is fluent in Armenian and Russian.
