Patrick Kasparian is tenured Associate Professor in Private Law at University of Reims. He is Assistant Director of the CEJESCO (Private Law Center).Attorney at law, he is member of the Paris Bar & the Beirut Bar. He specializes in Corporate Law and Business Litigation.
The main focus of his practice is M&A, private equity operations and joint ventures. Patrick also offers expert advice on shareholders and commercial litigation & arbitration. Moreover, he gained expertise in French-Lebanese issues.
As Assistant Director of the CEJESCO, The Private Law Center of University of Reims, Patrick participate in fixing strategic decisions and the financial plan of the Center. He helps its members defining & realizing research projects and he negotiates partnerships with academic & private organizations (domestic/international). He manages set up and publishing of seminars & scientific work.
Patrick holds a Ph.D. in law from the University of Paris II - Panthéon-Assas (summa cum laude) and has completed a dissertation about “Joint Control” under the supervision of Professor Hervé Synvet. His work has been published by Editions Joly, collection Pratique des affaires.
He has written several studies and articles in prestigious French law journals concerning corporate control, strategic decisions in companies, top management issues and CEO's role.
He teaches Contract Law, Company Law and Commercial Law at the University of Reims.
He directs student's academic research about Company Law issues.
He is fluent in French, English and Arabic.
