Rudolf Petrosyan is an associate in the Glendale office where his practice areas include business litigation, toxic tort, and products liability. In addition, Rudolf assists our national insurance coverage practice by advising and representing domestic and international insurers on first-party property (Homeowner’s and Commercial), commercial general liability, construction defect, and professional errors and omission claims. Rudolf has successfully litigated a wide variety of first-party and third-party insurance cases, including the interpretation of policy provisions and exclusions, quantum disputes, catastrophes, bad faith, and extra-contractual claims.Rudolf attended Southwestern Law School, where he graduated magna cum laude. While in law school, Rudolf was on the editorial board of the Southwestern Law Review and on the executive board of the Southwestern Negotiation Honors Program. As a member of the Negotiation Honors Program, Rudolf competed in the ABA Negotiation Competition where he advanced to nationals and finished the competition as a national semi-finalist. Rudolf earned the CALI “Excellence for the Future” Award for Business Associations, Constitutional Law, Civil Procedure, Community Property, and National Security Law. He also received the Witkin Award in Contracts, Evidence, and Criminal Law. Lastly, Rudolf served as a judicial extern for the Honorable William C. Ryan at the Criminal Writs Center where he drafted rulings on habeas corpus matters.Prior to attending law school, Rudolf received his B.A. in Political Science and Government from California State University, Northridge. He also started his own e-commerce business selling electronic parts to customers all over the United States and Canada. Rudolf is fluent in Armenian.
